Black Blue & Gold Czech Teardrop Necklace

This elegant necklace was made with black Czech glass teardrop beads with blue and gold luster finish.  The teardrop beads are woven into a beaded braid made using the ancient Japanese art of kumihimo braiding.   The kumihimo braid was made with one size of Japanese seed beads in Silver Lined Medium Topaz, akin to 18-k gold color.

The necklace was finished with gold plated flower cones and clasp and measures 19.25 inches long.  It goes perfectly well with gold earrings and is a great statement necklace to wear for dressy occasions.
