Cream & Red Teardrops Kumihimo Necklace

This beautiful necklace is a harmonious contrast of cream and red and was made using the ancient Japanese art of Kumihimo braiding.

The Kumihimo braid was made with two different sizes of red luster Czech teardrop beads and two different sizes of cream luster Japanese seed beads.  The braid is arranged with the smaller beads at the two ends of the braid.  It gravitates to the larger beads towards the middle of the braid where the red teardrop beads are intertwined. 

The necklace was finished with decorative gold plated cones and clasp and measures 17.75 inches long.  It goes perfectly well with gold earrings.
